  1. Social Walk: JCPRD Parks Tour

    April 24, 2019, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Antioch Park

    Lace up your walking shoes and tour Big Bull Creek Park, Meadowbrook Park, Shawnee Mission Park, and Lexington Lake Park. Lunch at Blue Moose. Lunch costs on your own. Call (913) 826-3054 for details. We provide transportation and a lunch reservation at a local restaurant close to our destination. Lunch costs on your own. Depart from Antioch Park. Return times vary. Inclement weather date is the following week. Staff will determine if weather conditions are suitable for hiking. Please bring your own water bottle. Please register at least one week prior to departure. Activity level: Easy (Smooth, even trail with slight elevation increases) to Moderate (Natural or paved trail with elevation changes and variety of terrain) Recommended for participants with good balance and experience on nature trails. Use of hiking boots and walking sticks optional.
