Keep driving skills sharp and lower insurance rates at the same time! Completing an AARP Smart Driver Course can mean a discount with some insurance companies. No tests given and no AARP membership required. Reserve your spot at least one week in advance of each class. Space is limited! Pay with check at the door.

This is the perfect age to enter the wonderful world of dance! Develop coordination, rhythm, and basic ballet positions in this fun and gentle introduction to music and dance. Ballet shoes and leotard required. The final session will allow parents to observe the class.
On the second Saturday of each month, explore three-dimensional art through STEAM. Adult and child work together to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture with balance, unity, and movement! Different materials are explored each month. Parents are encouraged to join this class.

Explore rhythm, tempo, and basic timing in this class for the young and imaginative! Your child will have the opportunity to use the universal language of music to increase social skills, dive into creativity, and even gain some basic math insight through dance and music. This is an introductory class that uses simple actions and dance movements with a focus on child-friendly music.

This is the perfect age to pursue and continue a love for dance! Develop coordination, rhythm, and intermediate level ballet positions in this fun and gentle course. This course is a great follow up to our Pre-K Pre-Ballet course. Ballet shoes and leotard required. The final session will allow parents to observe the class.

Stop! Collaborate and listen! Students will explore the basic characteristics of Hip Hop as well as where the dance style originated from. This course will culminate in a choreographed routine performed for family and friends.

The Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center holds the museum’s two-dimensional collection, including manuscripts, maps, photographs, and quilts.
