    You talked, we listened! Social outing are a shorter version of a daytrip, set at a lower price. Discover a new city, a boutique, restaurant, or local event. All meals and/or snack costs are on your own, and transportation will be in district vehicles. Outings depart from Antioch Park. Pre-paid ticket costs and a $5 processing fee will be deducted from cancellation refunds. Within seven days of trip, cancellations are non-refundable. For more information or to register, please call (913) 826-3030. Visit the vineyard at Jowler Creek. Optional, hayride around the property while sampling wine varietals along the way! (Hayride and tasting costs on your own). We will stop for lunch and all meal costs on your own.

    Explore the trails at Ernie Miller Park as the sun sets. Listen for the nocturnal sounds of a cricket’s chorus and a barred owl’s call. Gather around a cheery fire ring for stories, activities, and a tasty treat. Participants should bring a flashlight.

    Times: Fridays: 4 pm, 6 pm, 7:30 pm, and 9 pm; Saturdays: 2:30 pm, 4 pm, 5:30 pm, 7 pm, and 8:30 pm; Sundays: 2:30 pm, 4 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7 pm;

    Enjoy the outdoors by scheduling your group for a hayride through Heritage Park. Our hayrides conclude with a warm campfire where marshmallows and apple cider await. The one-hour hayride and one-hour campfire are just $7 per person, and groups will need to reach an $80 minimum for their ride. Hayrides are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call (913) 831-3359 to reserve a date and time for your group. Hayrides are available from September 15 through November 18. Two weeks advance registration is required.
