  4. Little Critter’s Day Out: Snow Tracks (Age 3-5)

    January 21, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Ernie Miller Nature Center

    Child must be fully potty trained to participate in this program. Your Little Critter will enjoy 3 hours of fun and education! Activities will vary by theme, but we will have a snack, make a craft, play games, and see an animal visitor each day. Children must be potty trained. Preregistration is required. Registration fee is nonrefundable. Sign up for just the Thursdays you want or for all of them! A monthly bundle is offered at a discount for registering for all four available Thursdays in January, February, or April. You must register for all four dates in the same month at the same time to receive the discount. For more information call Park Naturalist Diana Bliss at (913) 826-2807. 1 – 3 hr. class - $19 / $21 nonresidents 4 – 3 hr. classes (Jan., Feb., April only) - $65 / $73 nonresident

    By the light of the silvery moon, join us for a quiet hike to connect with nature and the night sounds. Let your eyes adjust to the moonlight and experience the park after dark. Enjoy shadows, listen for owls. Full moon hikes will happen even on overcast nights. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Recommended for Ages 8 and older.
