    September 17, 2019, 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM @ Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse

    Show your school spirit! Enjoy homecoming traditions and a delicious lunch. Make new friends and enjoy a full meal, prizes, fun, and 12 games of bingo. Variety of prizes awarded including gift certificates. Pre-registration required one week before event. This delicious event is $15 per person, $16 nonresidents. Cost of admission covers food and staff time to administer the bingo program. No additional charge for bingo.

  3. 50 Plus Magical Monarch Migration

    September 19, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Ernie Miller Nature Center

    Be a part of one of the world’s greatest migrations. Learn about the incredible journey of these butterflies while engaging in a tagging demonstration. Receive three tags to tag butterflies in the park or in your own yard. Bring your walking shoes and enjoy the trails after the event. A light breakfast will be served. This fascinating event is just $15 per person, $17 nonresidents.

  5. Cub Scouts Bear Adventure

    September 21, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Ernie Miller Nature Center

    Take a one-mile hike and visit stations along the way to earn your Fur, Feathers and Ferns Adventure. See some of the live nature center animals up-close and observe the wildlife in the park with binoculars. See a working compost bin and worm bin and learn about composting. Learn about extinct and endangered animals. Smell and taste herbs and plant an herb to take home. This educational event for ages 7-10 is $5 per person, $6 nonresidents, in advance or $8 on site day of event if space is available.   8. Evening in the Park

    September 28, 2019, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Theatre in the Park

    Join us for a free, laid-back party in the park as we say “thank you” for your support of JCPRD parks, programs, and special events. Bring your blankets, chairs, a ball or Frisbee, and enjoy time with your family and friends. Sing, dance, or relax as you listen to the M-80’s, a popular 1980’s tribute band. Then settle in to watch the iconic 80’s movie, Back to the Future, as the sun sets across the park. Food, wine & beer will be on location, so bring your wallet and ID.
