  10. League Rules Acknowledgement*

    This league will follow USAPA (USA Pickleball Association) rules. Please read additional rules below and check the box to agree to abide by each. (A full set of league rules are available through the league director.) League is for players 18 and over or 50 and over by 5/13/2022. If your partner has a higher rating, you will play in their division. Warm-up time limited to 5 minutes per game. Players referee their own matches. I understand that my email address will be shared with the other players in my divisions in order to schedule games. I understand that emails may only be used to schedule games and I accept full responsibility for my communication with others.

  11. COVID-19 Guidelines Acknowledgement*
    Each player must use their own ball to serve. Equipment may not be shared and must be sanitized. Players need to keep bags and personal items separate and distanced from others. Players are expected to be vigilant in preventing the spread of the virus by practicing good hygiene as recommended by CDC guidelines. No handshakes, paddle bumps or physical contact between players. Players are being asked to stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms or exposure risks as listed by the CDC guidelines. All players waiting for a court are expected to wait socially distanced until a court becomes available. Social distancing is expected to be practiced at all times. Players are suggested to visit the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) website for further guidance on a safe return to play.
  12. Electronic Signature Agreement*
    The undersigned states that he/she understands that the Johnson County Park & Recreation District is not and shall not be responsible for or liable for any illness, injury, or death to person or damage to property, including but not limited to illness, injury, or death arising from exposure to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), resulting from the program in which the undersigned is enrolling or being enrolled or from his/her participating in said program, and the participant and the undersigned, if the participant is a minor or under other legal disability, hereby forever releases and holds harmless the said Johnson County Park & Recreation District, it's employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims of any kind, including but not limited to claims arising from exposure to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), that the participant, or the undersigned or their respective heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have or claim to have resulting from participation in said program. NOTICE: By registering you hereby acknowledge JCPRD can and may photograph and/or video tape event participants and then use such images and/or participant names, without payment or any other consideration, for purposes of publicizing District parks, facilities, programs or services, or for any other lawful purpose. EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY: The Tournament Director reserves the right to alter or cancel the event. No Refunds. By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.
