Sunflower Nature Park
Sunflower Nature Park is a 57-acre park just south of K-10 Highway near Edgerton Road. The park features a paved one-mile loop trail, a small pond, picnic shelter, two parking lots, restroom, and two ball fields adjacent to the nature area.
PLEASE NOTE: The 103rd Street entrance is closed due to road construction and Sunflower Nature Park can only be accessed from the Sunflower Baseball Fields
Detour: Parking for Sunflower Nature Park is available at the Sunflower Baseball Fields. To access the Sunflower Baseball Fields, exit K-10 on Evening Star Road and proceed south to West 103rd Street. Turn left (eastbound) on West 103rd Street for approximately one mile to reach the Sunflower Baseball Fields parking lot which will be on your right. When departing the baseball fields, proceed westbound on West 103rd Street, turning right on Evening Star Road to access eastbound and westbound K-10.
Park Shelter
Sunfower Nature park has one shelter. To ensure the use of a shelter, reservations are recommended.

Pond
JCPRD fishing permits, and state fishing licenses (per state regulations) are required before utilizing the lake. See below for requirements.
