1. What is the difference between a day trip and a social outing?

Day Trips tend to be longer programs that usually include a meal, a planned day with multiple stops, and transportation on a motor coach (some exceptions). Social Outings tend to be shorter in program hours, include transportation in our district vehicles, and have a loose itinerary.

2. How do I sign up for a day trip?

You will need to register in advance for a Day Trip. Call our Registration department at 913-831-3359 to register over the phone with a credit card. Or, you may come by one of our offices to register in person. 

3. Where do I park my car during day trips?

Day Trips depart from Antioch Park. Enter the park from the main entrance off Antioch Road. Drive through the park to the back parking lot. You may park in the available parking spaces. 

4. Do I need to leave a tip at lunch during day trips?

No, the tip is included in the cost of your trip.

5. Do I need to tip the bus driver during day trips?

No, it is included in the cost of your trip.
