COMPETITION POOL SET-UP - SHORT COURSE

To accommodate events hosted this week, the Competition Pool will be set up in Short course today, Monday July 18^th, Wednesday, July 20^th and Thursday, July 21^st (AM only). 

LONG COURSE EXTENDED

The Competition Pool was originally scheduled to be converted to short course on  August 8, 2022. This has been modified and now the Competition Pool will remain in the long course set-up through the morning of August 22, 2022. After morning hours the pool will be converted to short course.  

AUGUST 2022 - Transition Month

The facility will be transitioning between Summer hours of operation and fall hours of operation throughout the month of August 2022. Please use the calendars below to review facility hour changes and Masters practice schedule.

SHAWNEE MISSION PARK BEACH - OPEN WATER SWIM TRAININGS

Looking to train for an upcoming triathlon or want to change up your swim workout? Johnson County Park & Recreation District offers open water swim trainings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:00 pm at the Shawnee Mission Park Beach.

• Participants must be pre-registered online by 10:00 am on the practice day to participate. 
• These trainings are for adults 18 years of age and older.
• Tow Buoy Float Required: Participants must have their own and wear tow buoy float at all times while in the water.
