SUBSTITUTE MASTERS COACHS

We have amazing staff of coaches for our Masters program at SMSD Aquatic Center, but at times they have conflicts with times practices are scheduled and we are looking for a couple substitute coaches.

This is a great opportunity to continue your passion for the great sport of swimming and become more involved with the masters program. Have some great workout ideas? This is your chance to share them with the team. Would like to help but not sure where to start on writing a workout? Our coaches would be happy to help create workouts for these days.

MASTERS SUMMER SCHEDULE

Starting June 1st, the SMSD Aquatic Center will be entering into its summer hours of operation.We are excited to have Saturday morning practices back!

Summer Masters Practice Schedule

Mondays & Wednesdays:
- 5:30 - 7:00 am (LC)
Tuesdays & Thursdays
- 5:45 - 7:15 pm (LC)
Saturdays:
- 7:30 - 9:00 am (LC)

SMSD AC: FACILITY SUMMER SCHEDULE

Starting June 1st the SMSD Aquatic center will be in summer schedule with modified hours through August 8th.

Mondays/Wednesdays:
- AM Hours: 5:30 - 11:30 am (LC)
- PM Hours: 4:00 - 7:30 pm (LC)
Tuesdays/Thursdays
- AM Hours: 7:30 - 11:30 am (LC)
- PM Hours: 4:00 - 7:30 pm (LC)
Fridays:
- AM Hours: 7:30 - 11:00 am (LC)
- PM Hours: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (LC)
Saturdays:
- AM Hours: 7:30 - 1:00 pm (LC)

OPEN WATER SWIM TRAINING

Looking to train for an upcoming triathlon or want to change up your swim workout? Johnson County Park & Recreation District offers open water swim trainings on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Shawnee Mission Park Beach.

Preregistration is required to participate.
