Coed Ninja Training gymnastics program for ages 6-12 set for Jan. 29

Two sessions of ninja fun are in store for children enrolled in a coed gymnastics program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. Physical distancing and COVID-19 safe practices will be encouraged during this program.

The program is called Ninja Training and is for ages six to 12. No matter their skill level, everyone can have a blast learning to be ninjas! Training will emphasize improving strength and agility through obstacle challenges and conditioning. To find this program online at JCPRD.com/Activities, browse first under youth and then under gymnastics. When using the advanced search, look for the keyword “gymnastics.”

Ninja Training will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, at the Mill Creek Activity Center, 6518 Vista Dr., Shawnee. The cost for one 90-minute session is $25 for Johnson County residents or $27.50 for nonresidents. For more information or to register by phone, call (913) 831-3359.
