Young children will enjoy a “Snowman Surprise in a Box” available through Jan. 22

Snowman Surprise

Winter fun indoors is the theme of an activity kit for young children being offered in late January by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. 

JCPRD is currently selling a Snowman Surprise in a Box for ages two through five. The kit includes a craft, snack, game instructions, and more. Each kit is for one child. To find this program online at, browse first under preschool and then under special events.  When using the website’s advanced search,  look for the keyword “preschool.”

To get your kit, call (913) 831-3359, or go to and click on “Activity Search,” and search for activity number 8015. Boxes can be picked up 8 a.m. to Noon on Friday, Jan. 22, at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave, Prairie Village.

The My JCPRD Activities catalog is available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches and JCPRD locations.
