Create a Snowman Wine glass Candleholder during new virtual program on Dec. 3

Snowman Wine Glass NF

Crafting a piece of holiday decor as part of a newly-announced virtual program, is the idea behind a program offered in early December by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.

Snowman Wine glass Candleholder is the name of this program, which is being offered by JCPRD’s 50 Plus department. Nothing says cozy like candlelight. Participants in this program will learn to create a whimsy snowman candleholder out of a wine glass to keep their holiday aglow! All supplies are included, and live-step-by-step guidance via Zoom will offer a great way to interact while we craft away!

To find this program online at JCPRD.com/Activities, browse first under 50 Plus and then under enrichment and special interests. When using the website’s advanced search, look for the keyword “crafts.”

Snowman Wine glass Candleholder will take place beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. The cost for this one-hour program, including all supplies, is $20 for Johnson County residents, or $22 for nonresidents. Supplies can be picked up at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave, Prairie Village,  on Dec. 1 and 2, between  8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. All registered participants will receive an email with a Zoom link and instructions on how to proceed.  For more information contact Tiffany at tiffany.hanna@jocogov.org.
