Ever thought about traveling by small plane but thought it was out of reach? Learn more about the aviation lifestyle during a virtual program being offered by the 50 Plus Department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District.
This new program is called Taking Flight-The Lifestyle of Aviation. Presenter Steve Wynne will discuss the common misconception that aviation is only for millionaires. There are over 5,000 airports in the US, so more than likely there is an airport nearby any place that someone wants to travel. But there are a lot of opportunities like clubs, schools, and private ownership that gives unprecedented access to this great nation through the air.
