Kids’ need a break too! Children ages five to 12 are invited to enjoy fun activities during a Kids’ Day Out program planned in early October at the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s Mill Creek Activity Center in Shawnee. Physical distancing and COVID-19 safe practices will be observed during this program.
The idea behind this event is that kids can have fun with games, sports, science experiments, crafts, gymnastics, and more, while under the supervision of JCPRD staff. The Kids’ Day Out event will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, at the Mill Creek Activity Center, located at 6518 Vista Drive, Shawnee.
