New Virtual Masterclass Acting Series for youth begins Sept. 23

Aspiring young actors can Learn from some of the most professional teaching artists from the comfort of their own living room during a new virtual program being offered by the Fine & Performing Arts Department of the Johnson County Park and Recreation District. 

The program is called the Virtual Masterclass Acting Series and is for ages 12 to 18. Participants will get to receive coaching and industry tips from New York City- and Los Angeles-based theater artists. The program promises to be a very unique experience and opportunity, and will culminate in an industry showcase. This program was not listed in the recently-released September through December My JCPRD Activities catalog. 

Virtual Masterclass Acting Series will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 23. The cost for eight 90-minute sessions is $99 per person for Johnson County residents, or $110 per person for nonresidents. For more information or to register by phone, call (913) 831-3359.
