Children ages six to 12 are invited to enjoy fun activities during a Parents’ Night Out program planned in mid-September at the Johnson County Park and Recreation District’s Mill Creek Activity Center in Shawnee. Social distancing and COVID-19 safe practices will be encouraged during this program.
The idea behind this gymnastics event is that parents can take well-deserved break while feeling confident that their child is safe and having the time of their life at the Mill Creek Activity Center. Activities include arts, crafts, games, and gymnastics open play under the supervision of JCPRD staff.
To find these programs in the online listings at JCPRD.com, browse first under youth and then under gymnastics. When using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “gymnastics special event.”
