New Kids’ Carnival event planned for Jan. 23 at Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse

Kids Carnival

A new special event for kids ages six to 12 promises to bring some excitement to a Thursday night in late January.

Kids’ Carnival is the name of this event, which is being presented by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District at the Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village.  Participants can try their luck at the trickiest of games, win tickets, and visit the prize booth. There will also be activities to make and take home.

To find this program in the My JCPRD Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under youth and then special events. In the printed catalog and when using the website’s advanced search, look for the keywords “special events.”

Kids’ Carnival will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. The cost for one two-hour event, including dinner, is $13 per child for Johnson County residents or $15 per child for nonresidents. For more information or to register by phone, call (913) 831-3359. To register online at www.jcprd.com, click on “Register for Activities,” and complete a course ID search for 27782.
