Take your partner on a different kind of date night on Oct. 4

Ceramics Date Night

If you are looking for a different date night, consider a Ceramics Date Night program being offered by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District in early October.

This program is for all couples ages 16 and older. Enjoy a special evening with your special someone as you do a one-time workshop exploring clay together. To find this program in the My JCPRD Activities catalog and online listings, browse first under adult and then under fine & performing arts. In the catalog and when using the website’s advanced search,  look for the keyword “art.”

Ceramics Date Night will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4,  at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center, 8788 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park. The cost for one two-and-one-half-hour session  is  $40 per couple.

For more information or to register by phone, call (913) 831-3359. To register online, visit the district’s website at, click on "Register for Activities," and perform a course ID search for 21547.

The My JCPRD Activities catalog is available for pickup at all Johnson County Library branches.
