An intergenerational special event being planned by the Johnson County Park and Recreation District in early August will provide a great opportunity for families to unplug and have fun together.
The event, which is called Family Bingo Night, is for all ages and also is the last of four monthly programs in this summer's Family Fun Series, which involve monthly events where kiddos and their grown-ups can play, explore, and make memories together. For Bingo Night, we’ve added twists and special treats to make the game more active, silly, and a family night to remember! Dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Prizes include gift bags and gift certificates. Cost of admission covers food and staff time to administer the bingo program. No additional charge for bingo.
Family Bingo Night will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, at the Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood Dr., Roeland Park.
For each two-hour event in the Family Fun Series, the cost for individual admission is $10 per person for Johnson County residents or $11 per person for nonresidents. Two different family rates are also offered. For a family of up to four people, the cost is $30 for residents or $33 for nonresidents. For a family of up to seven people, the cost is $40 for residents or $44 for nonresidents.
