Sailing I at Shawnee Mission Park (Ages 18 & Older)

Ages 18 & Older Learn the basic skill of sailing. Types of boats, launching techniques, docking, maintenance, and safety will be examined and studied in this class. Sailing I consists of two indoor lecture sessions and four water sessions. Indoor sessions will be held Tuesday and Thursday at the Shawnee Mission Park Admin Building and the outdoor sessions on Saturday mornings at Shawnee Mission Park Marina. If you wish to use your own boat, please call Ofc. Seth Salmans at 913-826-3491. Basic swimming skills required. 2 - 2 hr. indoor lessons & 4 - 2 hr. outdoor lessons - $86 / $95 nonresidents JCPRD Admin Bldg. 6/6 T,Th 7 pm Shawnee Mission Park Lake 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1 Sat 9 am Nature & Outdoors Refund Policy: Full refunds will be granted provided notification of cancellation is received five business days prior to the start of class.
