This workshop is designed for beginners looking to learn how to can. Canning basics and the science of food preservation will be taught in the first part of class. Then it’s time to get hands-on in the kitchen preserving a sample, using the canning technique of water-boiling. Price includes a can to take home and all supplies needed.

The Kansas City 2-Step is a dance enjoyed by the citizens of the Kansas City Metropolitan area. These lessons are provided by DC’s Dance Instruction and are considered an education in dance as they facilitate learning through the acquisition of knowledge, skills, guidelines, and behaviors. It is an education; grounded in sound principles, which assures the dancer proper implementation. The intent is to empower the dancer to embrace standards that measure up and discard paradigms that are not desired. This class will equip you with the necessary skills to become a proficient 2-stepper.
