The newest issue of the My JCPRD Activities catalog will be online on March 22 and available in print after March 25. Registration for classes in the catalog begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 25.
The free 60-page publication features more than 500 programs from Preschool to 50 Plus offered between May and August. Program offerings range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities and include leagues, classes, seminars, workshops, lunch and learns, trips, and more. Keep in mind that additional information and details about most of the programs in the catalog can be found at JCPRD.com.
Spring and summer special events in this issue include: the HP3 5K, 10K, and 15K; the Open Options Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon; and the JCPRD U Kids Triathlon; as well as other popular spring and summer offerings including: A Day in the Park; Ernie Miller Park Amphitheater programs; the Great American Family Campout, and much more.
The May through August catalog also contains articles about the 50th season of Theatre in the Park, the 35th anniversary of the Open Options Shawnee Mission Triathlon and Duathlon, introductory softball programs for children, and a new 50 Plus Day trip that will let participants cruise on the Missouri River.
JCPRD's 2019 Camp Guide is not included in the May through August catalog because the guide was mailed to JCPRD's entire mailing list in late January, and the publication is also available at Johnson County Library locations, community centers, various businesses, and at district locations. Some additional summer camps are also listed in the new catalog, but all camps are online at JCPRD.com.

is mailed to approximately 30,000 past participants who have taken part in a district program within the last year.
