The next issue of the Johnson County Park & Recreation District’s My JCPRD Activities catalog is now online at www.jcprd.com and available in print form, and registrations for programs in the new catalog are now being taken.

The 60-page publication features more than 800 programs from Preschool to 50 Plus offered between May and August. Program offerings range from arts and crafts to sports to nature activities and includes leagues, classes, seminars, workshops, and trips. Programs are offered for infants through senior adults. The catalog spotlights a late spring and summer calendar full special events.

Note that JCPRD's Summer Camp Guide is not included in the new catalog, but can be found online at jcprd.com, and in printed form at the same locations where catalogs can be found. Some additional summer camps are also listed inside the regular catalog.

Readers will notice the new catalog has a new look and takes a new approach. Previously, JCPRD looked upon the My JCPRD Activities catalog as its major marketing tool, but that role is now being shifted to jcprd.com, which has also launched a major update after more than a year of planning. The new catalog features better quality paper with full color throughout. The publication now features more concise program listings and directs readers to the website for more details.

This issue will also include information about the HP3 Duathlon, the Open Options Shawnee Mission Triathlon & Duathlon, and Women's Triathlon as well as other popular spring and summer events including: A Day in the Park, Ernie Miller Park Amphitheater programs,  the Great American Family Campout, and much more.

The My JCPRD Activities catalog is mailed out to approximately 20,000 past participants who have taken part in a district program within the last year. Catalogs, as well as the Summer Camp Guide, are available at Johnson County Library Branches, community centers, various businesses, and at district locations. To be added to the mailing list to receive future issues of the My JCPRD Activities catalog, fill out the request form.
