Reservations for facilities are “as is.” Requests for other uses (tents, etc.) may require a Special Use Permit. For weddings being held in district parks, a JCPRD Wedding Permit is required. There is a per-event fee for Johnson County resident and nonresidents, but this fee is waived when a park shelter or the Helen Cuddy Rose Garden is reserved in conjunction with the event. For additional information on a Special Use Permit, please visit the Special Use Permits section of our Permits and Fees page.

Flowering Plants

As a general rule, the district's parks are oriented toward recreational activities and green space, as opposed to displays of flowering plants. The exception to this would be Antioch Park, which has several planted areas.
