Visitor Services Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM - 5 PM

JCPRD permits can be purchased in-person at the Visitor Services counter, Johnson County Walmart locations, Scheels, and Bass Pro Shop. You may also purchase permits over the phone by calling 913-438-7275 or online.  

Kansas State fishing licenses can be purchased at the above retailers and online at ksoutdoors.com/License-Permits.

Located inside the Shawnee Mission Park JCPRD Administration Building, Visitor Services provides patrons with the following:

• Park maps
• Trail guides
• My JCPRD Activities catalog
• JCPRD park permits (fishing, boating, archery, and metal detecting)
• Purchase Kansas State fishing licenses
• Orienteering course packets
• Model rocket permits
• Remote controlled vehicle permits
