Basketball Summer League Information


Summer 2019

Online Registration - Summer registration is closed.  This season begins May 28.

All registrations will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation, your registration did not reach us. Please do not fax after 5:00pm or on weekends.

We are now hiring staff for spring and summer evenings!

Team Registration Deadlines 

  • Early Bird Deadline - Monday, April 29 at noon (Save $50)
  • Youth Final Deadline - Sunday, May 5
  • Late Deadline - Monday, May 13
  • Last Day to Pay - Wednesday, May 15

Season Length

  • May 28 through August 1

Days of Play

  • Boys and Girls Grades 2 through 4 - Wednesdays (overflow - Mondays)
  • Boys Grades 5 through 8 - Tuesdays (overflow - Wednesdays)
  • Girls Grades 5 through 8 - Thursdays (overflow - Wednesdays)
  • Boys and Girls High School - Wednesdays (overflow - girls: Thursdays, boys: Tuesday)

Basic Information

  • All Grades
    • Each team is responsible for providing 1 adult to the scorer’s table each game (1 timekeeper or 1 scorekeeper).
    • Teams shall have a minimum roster of 5 players. (4 to play).
    • Players may play grades up, but not grades down
    • Players may be on two rosters if they are in different divisions.  Players on two rosters in the same grade may play up to an A-team, but not down to a B-team.
    • Overtime—2 minutes  2nd OT —Sudden Death
  • 1st - 4th Grade
    • (4) 10-minute quarters, running clock.  Exception - Last 2 minutes of the 2nd half if the point spread is 10 or less.
    • No Press or Zone
    • (2) 30-second timeouts per half.  No Carryover.
    • Goal Heights
      • 1st & 2nd Grade - 8 feet
      • 3rd Grade - 9 feet
      • 4th Grade - 10 feet
        • When grades are combined, goals will be set to the appropriate height for each team unless otherwise requested.
  • 4th Premiere, 5th & 6th Grade
    • (2) 12-minute halves, stop clock.  Exception - 30+ point spread.
    • Pressing is allowed.  No press if the point spread exceeds 20.
    • (2) 30-second timeouts per half plus (1) full 60-second timeout.  No carryover.
  • 7th Grade - 8th Grade
    • (2) 14-minute halves, stop clock.  Exception - 30+ point spread.
    • Pressing is allowed.  No press if the point spread exceeds 20.
    • (2) 30-second timeouts per half plus (1) full 60-second timeout.  No carryover.
  • High School
    • (2) 20-minute halves, running clock.  Exception - Last 2 minutes of the 2nd half if the point spread is 10 or less.
    • Pressing is allowed.  No press if the point spread exceeds 20.
    • (2) full timeouts per half. No carryover.

    • Please contact all players before submitting your bye request or conflict form.  If there is a day of play that  your team will be missing too many players to field a team, please submit your request by the listed deadline.
