Ernie Miller Nature Center's Education Programs offer kids of all ages a variety of fun and exciting educational programs all presented by our friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Interactive environmental, cultural and nature awareness programs offered by Park Naturalists and Park Police. Enjoy a day at the park or invite to come to your location. These programs available for youth groups, scouts, home school and other organized groups.

Our Park Police Officers and Naturalists will guide our preschoolers through a variety of fun environmental education programs. Our preschool programs are also great for our home school children as well. Availability is limited and is on a first come first served basis.

Our interpretive programs provide environmental and historical awareness and “hands on” educational experiences for students (for both school and home school) from kindergarten through sixth grade. With experience and educational backgrounds in the areas of natural resource management, fisheries and wildlife, biology, ecology, anthropology, outdoor recreation and education, the programs are taught by our very own JCPRD Park Police and Naturalists.
