Support the Museum
As part of the Parks & Recreation Foundation of Johnson County, the Friends of the Johnson County Museum actively work to secure the necessary resources to provide the highest quality museum experiences. The Parks & Recreation Foundation of Johnson County is a separate not-for-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate relationships and build capacity for Johnson County Park and Recreation District and related philanthropic initiatives. All received gifts are deposited with the Parks & Recreation Foundation of Johnson County, and qualify as charitable tax-deductible gifts.
Please consider giving to one of the funds to help instill a stronger connection to history and a sense of place for those who visit. We value your support of the museum's mission and appreciate any size gift. Thank you for your support of creating great experiences for the community to connect with local history!
Scholarship Fund
The Friends of the Johnson County Museum provides access to field trip programs through a scholarship to Title One Schools. Qualifying schools receive 1/2 price admission to programs at the Arts & Heritage Center and the Lanesfield Historic Site.
