Do more this summer! Leadership Education and Development (L.E.A.D.) Camp builds the character of young leaders through career and education exploration, community service and stewardship, and engaging recreation activities. For youth entering grades 6th through 9th, L.E.A.D. Camp offers a summer of friendships, new experiences, and exciting challenges.
Campers will be given the opportunity to do a variety of diverse activities, through leadership education and service learning, life skills, arts, sports, recreation opportunities, and more, L.E.A.D. campers have the potential to make a difference in the community and themselves.
New: Recreation fees are now included! (Pending KDHE travel approval)
Camp Duration: Eight 1-week camps
Starts: June 5th to July 28th (no camp on June 19th or July 4th due to the holiday)
First child: 150.00 (resident) and 165.00 (non-resident)
Two or more children (same family/week) - Second child: 10% Discount
All fees are non-refundable
Camp Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Camp T-Shirts: You will receive 2 shirts when you register for the camp. T-Shirts will be passed out on the first day that your child attends camp. If you would like to purchase additional shirts please call registration at 913-831-3359.
JCPRD Summer Camp weekly swimming will be determined upon local pool availability.
Summer Camp Open House: We will be holding a Summer Camp Open House in May at the camp locations so that you can get a better feel of what is expected at camp. The date is TBA. Any camp policies, staff introductions, program activities and individual questions can be asked at the Open House.
