A Year With Frog and Toad KIDS!
Ages 8-12

Join our two-week summer academy as kids dive into the magical world of "A Year with Frog and Toad Kids.” This whimsical show follows two great friends, the cheerful, popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad, through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

Guided by our skilled Teaching Artists, A Year with Frog and Toad Kids will concentrate on honing character development, mastering expressive storytelling and narration, as well as perfecting ensemble singing and movement. This journey will culminate in a thrilling showcase at the Arts and Heritage Center Black Box on Friday, June 14. Plus, enjoy an exclusive Theatre in the Park backstage tour and reserved seating at Bye Bye Birdie on Thursday, June 6. In addition to a complimentary ticket to Bye Bye Birdie on June 6th, campers will also receive a camp shirt.

The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition
Ages 10-17

Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises. The power of optimism really can save the world.

Under the expert guidance of our Teaching Artists, SpongeBob campers will develop their skills in physical comedy and characterization, enhance their vocal abilities and character voices, and explore creative movement and dance. This artistic journey will culminate in an exhilarating showcase at the Arts and Heritage Center Black Box.

Crazy For You Youth Edition
Ages 10-17

Crazy for You tells the story of young New York banker Bobby Child, who is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre. In Deadrock, Bobby falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theatre owner’s daughter. But Polly takes an instant dislike to the city slicker, so Bobby vows, through cunning, razzmatazz, and a hilarious case of mistaken identity, to win Polly’s heart and save the theatre. Memorable Gershwin tunes from the score include, I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away from Me, Embraceable You, Nice Work if You Can Get It, and Someone to Watch Over Me.

Under the expert guidance of our Teaching Artists, Crazy for You performers will refine their dance techniques and routines, develop their singing and musical interpretation skills, and enhance their acting abilities for classic romantic comedies. This comprehensive training will culminate in an exhilarating showcase at the Arts and Heritage Center Black Box.

CATS Youth Edition
Ages 12-18

CATS Theatre Academy marks a spectacular collaboration, bringing together participants from Mainstage Camps, Fine Arts Camps, and the exceptional talents of Theatre Academy for an unforgettable, show-stopping performance that highlights the best of our season! CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines, including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year, the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

Guided by the expertise of our Teaching Artists, performers in CATS will concentrate on mastering dance and physical characterization, enhancing vocal performance and musicality, and honing expressive acting and improvisation. This journey of artistic growth will culminate in an exhilarating showcase at the Arts and Heritage Center Black Box on August 2nd. Plus, a Theatre in the Park backstage tour and reserved seating at Sister Act on Wednesday July 31. In addition to a complimentary ticket to Sister Act on July 31st, campers will also receive a camp shirt.
