Hands-On Soldering: Building a DaVinci Probe (Ages 8 and up, with adult)

Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure at our learn to solder workshop! Flex your engineering muscles and solder your own blinky DaVinci Venus Probe while getting inspired by NASA’s mission to uncover the mysteries of our neighboring planet. Plus, take a tour of our solar system with NASA JPL posters on display. Don’t miss out on this fun and educational partnership between the Johnson County Library's Black & Veatch MakerSpace and JCPRD's Fine Arts Department.
This program is part of Remake Learning Days Kansas City, celebration of innovative experiences and opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity. Remake Learning Days is a festival of events hosted by a variety of organizations, such as schools, museums, libraries, after school organizations, early child care centers, parks, universities, media centers, tech startups and more.
