Adult Maker

COSPLAY CONSTRUCTION- EVA FOAMCosplay Construction: EVA Foam (Ages 16 and Older)


New! Learn how to draft patterns, cut, shape and finish foam components for cosplay with a local cosplayer. Students will make one foam cosplay project based on the available examples and then one piece of their own design. This series will involve the use of handheld cutting tools. No experience necessary.

3D PRINT

3d Printing 101 (Ages 16 and Older)


Learn the basics of 3D Printing, including printer anatomy, function, 3D design and troubleshooting.  Students will

 need to bring their own laptop computer to this class. Contact Fine Arts Coordinator, Ryan Bell with questions.


Saturdays October 7-21, 1pm-3:30pm- REGISTER HERE

LASER CUTTINGLaser Cut Shadow Box (Ages 16 and Older)

Learn about laser cutting as you draw your own digital design for a custom DIY shadow box. Students will need 

to bring their own laptop computer to this class. Contact Fine Arts Coordinator, Ryan Bell with questions.

LASER CUT LAMPLaser Cut Lamp (Ages 16 and Older)


Learn about laser cutting as you design your own patterns for a custom DIY wooden lamp. You will design, cut, 

assemble and wire up the circuit for your lamp. Students will need to bring their own laptop computer to

SEWN CIRCUITSewn Circuits (Ages 16 and Older)


Learn about electronics while making a piece of glowing, wearable art. Students will sew wearable electronic 

components onto fabric to make glowing DIY adornments that can be worn on any fabric item. 

Prior hand sewing experience is recommended.  


Mondays November 6 - 20, 6pm - 8:30pm- REGISTER HERE

DIGI FABDigitally Fabricated Jewelry (Ages 16 and Older)


Test out both laser cutting and 3d printing as you design and make your own digitally fabricated jewelry. 

This series will give you a little taste of that basics of 2d design, 3d design, laser cutting and 3d 

printing. Students will need to bring their own laptop computer to this class.
