Activity Permit Fees
Prior to utilizing the Shawnee Mission Park Archery Range
- A JCPRD archery permit is required for everyone 13 years of age and older. No permit is required for children 12 years of age and under, however, they must be accompanied by an adult who possesses a valid District Archery Permit.
- Broadhead points are prohibited.
- Crossbows are not allowed at the archery range.

Any person, age 16 years or older is required to possess a valid JCPRD permit to engage in the following activities.
Persons under the age of 16 are not required to have a permit but must be accompanied by a permit holder.

Overnight fishing begins after 11 p.m. The main gates into the parks will be open with access in the parks restricted to fishing areas only. Camping and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. State fishing licenses and park permits are required per established regulations. See above for permit pricing.
