11th Annual JCPRD Women's Triathlon & Duathlon

She swims, she bikes, she runs... She never quits. Discover the unparalleled strength, empowerment and camaraderie found among hundreds of women tackling a challenge together! The Johnson County Park and Recreation District is proud to present one of the two all-female triathlons and duathlons in the state of Kansas. JCPRD is committed to enhancing the quality of life of athletes near and far by providing high-quality parks, services and recreation programs.

This USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event features a Super-Sprint Distance triathlon, a Sprint Distance triathlon and a Duathlon course in Kill Creek Park. All age group athletes participate and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete's age on December 31 of the current year. Individual awards will be presented to the top three female overall finishers in each course. Age group awards will be broken down into five year increments.

2017 participant on her experience on the bike course: 

Great paved roads. LOVED the fact that there were so many people at the intersections directing traffic. One of the safest tris I have ever done.

I do have to say that the volunteers were just awesome and so helpful. There was someone at every turn that I needed to know which way to go.  I have never seen a more organized plan for volunteers to be in the right spot for us.  I so needed them. That impressed me.
