Team Formation
- When registering individually, we will accept friend and/or coach requests and do all we can to accommodate those requests
- However, there is no guarantee we can accommodate all friend and/or coach requests, but we do our best
- We also look at schools the kids attend and try and group kids together that way if no friend or coach is mentioned during the registration process
Volunteer Coaches
- All teams rely on volunteer coaches in order for our league to operate
- Volunteer coaches must pass a background check and submit a volunteer hold harmless form
- Children of head coaches will receive 50% off of league fees (max of 1 discount per team if coach has multiple kids playing on the same team)
Gate Fee
- No gate fee is charged during league games
Length of Season - Summer 2023
- Games are played Sunday afternoons beginning June 25.
- Teams play will play doubleheaders over five Sundays for a total of 10 matches
- Potential game dates are June 25, July 3, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, Aug 6, and Aug 13.
Game Times
- Game start times will range from 12:00 noon - 9:00 p.m.
- Game times may rotate from week to week
Uniforms
- The league provided shirt should be worn during all league games
- Shorts, socks, shoes, & knee pads are the responsibility of each family to provide
Equipment
- Practice balls are not provided so each child is encouraged to bring their own with their name on it
- Game balls will be provided
- Grades 3 - 6 will use a volley-lite ball
- Grades 7 - HS will use a regulation size ball

- The Schedules will be posted no later than 3 days prior to the first game. Coaches will be notified once schedules are posted
- The Standings will be updated weekly and will be posted to the web no later than 5:00pm on Fridays. We try our best to post earlier in the week, however this is not always possible.
League Awards
- Awards will be given to individuals of the teams finishing 1st or 2nd place in their league
Game & Practice Location
- All games and practices will take place at Okun Fieldhouse - 20200 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66218
Price Breakdown
- Anybody registering on or before the early bird deadline will pay $95. Anybody registering after will pay the final deadline price of $105. Kids registering after the final deadline are not guaranteed their desired shirt size. Children of head coaches will receive 50% off of league fees (max of 1 discount per team if coach has multiple kids playing on the same team).
Score Keeper/Line Judge
- Each team is responsible for providing one person to the scorer’s table to operate the scoreboard or keep the score sheet
- Each team is responsible for providing one person to line judge
- These individuals must be at least 18 years of age or older
