Santa's Virtual Workshop

Santa's Virtual Workshop

HO-HO-Holiday-Fun!  Santa will check in with us VIRTUALLY and interact LIVE with us from his workshop at the north pole (via some very fancy elf technology) while we make holiday themed crafts and community holiday cards. He even has a special cookie gift for you to take with you as you exit the workshop.

Five sessions to choose from!

Each $30 Table Fee purchases seating for up to FOUR at your table.  We will not combine groups at tables to fill the table. Selling tables rather than individual tickets allows us to socially distance our full event space and for you to decide who will join you for a new holiday tradition!  Each Table Fee also includes TWO sets of crafts and TWO take home cookie decorating kits.  An additional Craft/Cookie Set can be purchased for an additional fee at checkout for $10.

EXAMPLE 1: A parent, two children, and Aunt Susie would like to attend the event.  Only the children plan on doing the crafts.  Table fee is $30.  No additional Craft/Cookie Sets need to be purchased and there will be four people at the table.

EXAMPLE 2: One grandparent and three children will be attending the event.   The total fee for the experience would be $40.  Since there will be three kids making crafts, you will need additional $10 Craft/Cookie Set in addition to the table fee of $30.  There will be four people at the table.

EXAMPLE 3: One parent and one child would like to enjoy a virtual visit from Santa.  The table fee is $30.  Since the Table Fee comes with two Craft/Cookie Sets, the parent can choose to craft right alongside their child or you can take the second set home to enjoy another crafting day at home.   There will be two people at the table.

There is no age limit for the Craft/Cookie Set!  Children of all ages are welcome to participate or help the younger children at your table complete their crafts.

Questions?  Please contact us!

This event will be socially distanced and the space will be sanitized between sessions.  We will adhere to the guidelines at the time of the event from the JOCO Health Department and JCPRD.

Thank you to the elves in the Bakery at Hy-Vee (95th and Antioch) for their in-kind donation of the cookie decorating kits!

A SPECIAL Add-On before or after your visit with Santa!

HOLIDAYS IN THE JOHNSON COUNTY MUSEUM!

Make your visit with Santa extra special with a step back in time. The 1954 All-Electric House will be decked out for the holidays. Enjoy the sparkle of an aluminum tree, the glow of big bulb light strings, and the nostalgia of the vintage décor throughout the house.

As a special treat, a refurbished 1949 Lionel train set will be running under the tree from 11 to 2! Plus we will have retro inspired crafts and we’ve pulled popular gifts from across the decades—see if you can guess what they are!

With admission to SANTA'S VIRTUAL WORKSHOP for December 12, receive a $1 off admission coupon to the museum on December 12, 2020 for up to EIGHT guests!  The coupon code will print at the bottom of your SANTA'S VIRTUAL WORKSHOP receipt.

Don't forget to pre-register for Kidscape if you plan to play (museum and non-museum members)
