COVID-19 School Age Child Care Subsidy Funding

Dear JCPRD Family,

The Johnson County Board of County Commissioners has awarded CARES Act funds to provide subsidies for school-age child care programs. JCPRD has received a portion of these funds, which will allow us to provide Out of School Time (OST) services at discounted rates to families, which is why we are reaching out to you as you may qualify.

We’re grateful to the county for these funds, allowing us to provide much-needed support to the families throughout our community. Please read below for details on the application process.

Families may apply for qualifying JCPRD childcare and remote learning hub programs beginning today. Applications will be processed beginning Monday, September 28, 2020.

Click here to access the COVID-19 School Age Child Care Subsidy Application. A JCPRD staff member will contact you within 2 business days to confirm your eligibility and assist you with enrollment when appropriate. All funding will remain in effect through December 30, 2020, or until funding is depleted.

If you have any questions, please contact our Registration office at 913-831-3359 or email

Thanks for being part of the JCPRD Family! We look forward to serving you.
