Fall 2019 Theatre Offerings- Youth


All About Improv!- In All About Improv students will be able to explore the basics of acting on their feet and in the moment! Improvisational theatre is unscripted and created and performed spontaneously in the moment. In addition to learning how to “act in the moment” students will be able to learn the basics of sketch comedy and build their own sketch comedy routine. $130 for 8 Sessions, Ages 12-18

Intro to Acting- Monologues, dialogue between characters, and evoking emotion as actors are just a few things you will learn in this introductory class.  A teaching artist will be facilitating the program, however this class will also center on peer interaction and discussion.  This class ends with a student showcase for family and friends. $130 for 6 Sessions, Ages 8-12

October 2nd- November 6th

Inter-generational Creative Drama- This event series explores creating drama among diverse populations. Working  pre-k, youth, older adult, and the veteran community- these groups will work together in the form of creative storytelling, improv, and puppet making. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each session will be led by a professional performing arts teaching artist and will explore a different theme. This program is for ALL AGES :) Each event occurs on a Saturday afternoon. $8 per session or $25 for all four sessions.

October 5th 3:00pm-4:00pm - This month's theme is Improv Acting in Rehearsal Studio A

November 2nd 2:00pm-3:00pm - This month's theme is How to Tell Your Own Story in Studio A

December 7th 1:00pm-2:00pm- This month's theme is DISNEY!  Will have complimentary programming that goes along with the TIP Holiday Show- FROZEN JR in Rehearsal Studio B
