Ceramics (Ages 16 & Older)

Teaching Artist: Brook Griffin

Clay provides an opportunA woman building a clay pot on a ceramic wheelity for problem-solving and creative thinking within a tranquil and reassuring environment. You will have the opportunity to learn how to properly adhere separate clay pieces through score and slip, how to use various clay tools, and how to apply glaze to a finished design culminating in beautiful works of art ready to display!

Enjoy a special eveniA person building a clay pot on the ceramic wheelng with your special someone as you do a one-time workshop exploring clay together. All couples welcome. Cost is per couple.

Essential Oil Pendants (Ages 16 & Older)

Teaching Artist: Kelly Darling

Using a simple technique, wPendants with symbols, blue background Opens in new windowe will use clay to make small to medium sized pendants that can be worn as jewelry, used as a decorative ornament, or a charm to hang from the car’s rear-view mirror with a fun aromatherapy twist! By leaving the backside of the pendants unglazed, the pendants can absorb essential oils for a fragrant and enjoyable experience. The first session will create the pendants, using fun stamps or other texture-creating techniques to decorate them. The second session will be for glazing. This is a great way to test the waters in creating with clay!

Open Art Studio (Ages 16 & Older)

Whether your passion is Man painting with watercolorsthe pottery wheel, oil paints, or charcoal, this weekly meet-up offers a relaxing, safe, encouraging environment for you to create in the medium of your choice at your leisure. Studio time for you, by you.

Tuesday Nights, 5:30pm-8:30pm

This is a drop-in program for $10 per person. No pre-registration required. Check in at the front desk upon arrival. Bring receipt with you to the Art Studio.
