JCPRD's Summertime Arts and Crafts Show
JCPRD's Summertime Arts and Craft Show is a feature at the Merriam Turkey Creek Festival. The Arts and Crafts show invites regional artists with original work featuring such work as drawings, paintings, sculptures, fiber arts, woodcarvings, jewelry, pottery and folk art. The Summertime Arts & Craft show is one highlight of a fun filled day that attracts people from all over the Kansas City metropolitan area. Other festival events include a pancake breakfast, parade, children's activities, specialty food vendors and live music.

Arts & Craft Vendors Welcome
Vendors of handmade craft items are invited to join our show. We do not allow commercial products, resale items or flea market articles. Applications for entry will be screened based on the type of artwork and the quality of the products. If commercial products are observed in your booth at the show, you will be asked to remove them from the booth or leave the show.

Entry Fees
The fee for each vendor space is listed in the registration form (below).

Display Areas
Each vendor area measures approximately 12’ X 12’ and set up is on the lawn of the park. Crafters are responsible for providing their own tables, tents, chairs, etc. Electricity is not available. This is an outdoor event – vendors should be prepared for possible inclement weather. Information packets containing vendor space assignments, maps, set up instructions, etc. will be mailed out.

Event Changes and/or Cancellation
The Turkey Creek Committee reserves the right to cancel or alter the event.

Registration Entry Options: Mail, Fax or Phone
All applications must include two photographs – one showing your product and one showing your display set up. These photographs will assist us in determining your vendor space assignment. Please include your name, business name and a contact phone number on the back of each photograph. The deadline for advance registration is April 30th . All entries submitted after the set deadline date must include an additional late fee ($5).

By Mail - Download, fill out the Merriam Turkey Creek Summertime Arts and Crafts registration form (see form below) and mail the completed application form and the two photographs mentioned above to: JCPRD Registration, 6501 Antioch Road, Merriam, KS 66202. Make checks payable to The Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD). We also accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

By Fax – Download, fill out the Merriam Turkey Creek Summertime Arts and Crafts registration form (see form below) and fax the completed application form and photographs to (913) 826-3163. Since the photographs will not be legible by fax, please submit them by postal mail or by e-mail to info@jcprd.com - Attention: Summertime Arts & Crafts Show.

By Phone – Call our Registration Office at Antioch Park at (913) 831-3359. Registration office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. The two required photographs must still be submitted by e-mailing them to info@jocogov.org or postal mail to JCPRD's Summertime Arts and Crafts, Attention: Summertime Arts & Crafts Show, Roeland Park Community Center, 4850 Rosewood, Roeland Park, KS 66205.
