JCPRD's Children Service's Inaugural Cars in the Park Show
Shine up your vintage or contemporary car, truck, hot rod, or motorcycle because it is time to show them off at JCPRD's Cars in the Park Show held at The Theatre in the Park! This is an all age’s event with lots of entertainment, so rev-up your engines to enjoy music, dancing, a model car contest and many activities in our Kid’s Alley. There will be plenty of concessions with many amazing door prizes and the 50/50 pot. This is a rain or shine event!

Post Event: Park Cruise
Following the awards ceremony, at 4:00 pm, we will conclude the show by taking a park cruise through beautiful Shawnee Mission Park.

Benefiting Special Olympics & Special Populations
JCPRD's Children Services Division provides all proceeds to benefit the JCPRD Special Olympics & Special Populations department.

Pre-Registration
Pre-registration will be accepted up to August 1st at the cost of $20.00 per vehicle. After the August 1st pre-registration date, registration will be set at $25.00 per vehicle and will be accepted up to and on the day of the show. All car show/model car participants must be registered and on-site by 12:00 pm to be judged.

Awards Presentation
Awards will be presented promptly at 3:00 pm.
