Youth Soccer of Johnson County Park and Recreation District's philosophy is to enrich the youth of our community via the game of soccer while enhancing the social skills and team play in a fun and exciting sports environment. Our youth soccer program provides the community with a recreational soccer program for children beginning ages 4 to 14 (8th grade). Games are primarily played at Thomas S. Stoll Park and possibly other offsite locations. Games are usually played on Saturdays or Sundays in both spring and fall seasons.

Pee Wee (Ages 4, 5 & 6)
Meet for six games on Saturdays and/or Sundays for a 25 minute practice and then play a 25 minute game. Format is 4 v 4 with no goalie and volunteer coaches. Max of 8 players on a team. Boys and Girls have separate teams. Players in first grade must play in JCYS division. Six games played at Stoll Park.

JCYS (Grades 1-4)
Boys and girls are on separate teams. A minimum of 1 practice a week. Approximately 12 players on a team format will be 7 v 7 with 2 - 25 minute halves and volunteer coaches. Eight games at Stoll Park.

JCYS (Grades 5-8) -
Gr 5-6 (U11, U12) / Gr 7-8 (U13, U14)
Boys and girls are on separate sanctioned teams.
U11 & U12 play 8 v 8, 30 minute halves w/roster of 16
U13 & U14 play 11 v 11, 35 minute halves w/roster of 18. Game for this age group are played at Stoll, Stump and Swarner Parks.

Jersey & Equipment: JCPRD jerseys must be worn during games. Order a jersey for an additional cost if you have not played in JCPRD outdoor soccer before or if you have outgrown yours or have changed to team of a different color. All teams moving from pee wee to 1st grade in the fall need to purchase a JCYS jersey. All players must wear shin guards.

HappyFeet offers more of a variety of programs to meet every soccer interest for our little ones. HappyFeet is the foundation program for creating elite and creative character for life. Challenger Sports
