2011 - 2012 JCPRD AFTER SCHOOL CARE
School Age Care & Enrichment (Grades K-6)
JCPRD provides quality child care services for working families with children, kindergarten through sixth grade.

This program offers kids the opportunity to enhance their socialization and physical skills, and provides a quiet place to do homework. Experienced staff present a rewarding setting through recreational games, board games to increase social skills and turn taking, crafts to improve creativity and homework time to encourage discipline and responsibility.

This service is located on-site in specific Shawnee Mission, De Soto and Gardner-Edgerton Elementary schools.

Before School Care
Trained staff provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere by assisting children with any unfinished homework, engaging children in activities, and encouraging socialization. A morning snack is provided.

Shawnee Mission School Sites: Care available 7am - 8am
De Soto School Sites: Care is available from 7am - 8:50am
Gardner School Sites: Care is available from 7am - 8:25am

Kindergarten Enrichment
The enrichment program features activities that reinforce academic and social development. The qualified staff maintain an enjoyable and comfortable learning environment. Letter recognition, decision making, socialization, group and individual games, creative arts, field trips and other events make this a wonderful learning experience.

De Soto School Sites: 8:50am - 11:50am and/or 12:50pm - 3:50pm
Gardner School Sites: 11:20am - 3:20pm

Afterschool Care
