Accessing JCPRD Parks During Inclement Weather

Even when winter storms require JCPRD parks to be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, all district parks remain open to pedestrian access. If you are parking your car and entering a park on foot, please be sure your vehicle is legally parked and not blocking the park entrance or roadway.

24-Hour Information Lines
Johnson County Park and Recreation District has the following special lines to provide up-to-date information on programs, rainouts, inclement weather, cancellations, facility offerings, special events, etc. In the event of program cancellations the information lines will be updated by 7:00 a.m. for morning programs, by 11:00 a.m. for afternoon programs, and by 4:00 p.m. for evening programs.
